MISENHEIMER, NC- The Pfeiffer men's tennis team (6-0)picked up their sixth win in a row with a  6-3 victory over Catawba (4-2) on Thursday afternoon.

In singles competition Oscar Von Koch dropped his match in three set 4-6, 6-4, 10-8, while Axel Woener took care of business in his match winning in three set 4-6, 6-4, 10-8. Bjorn Barwinski won his match in three sets as well 7-6, 5-7, 10-8. David Weir won 7-5, 2-6, 10-8 and Sebastian Werenke won in straight sets 6-3, 6-1. Anthony Brennan fell in three sets 4-6, 7-6, 10-8.

In the Doubles competition Van Koch and Woener won a close match 9-8 and the team of Barwinski and Wernecke won in a shutout 8-0. The lone doubles loss was Weir and Brennan and they fell in a close 8-6 match.

The Falcons are back in action on Sunday, February 15 for a meet against Lenoir-Rhyne.
