Pfeiffer Softball Takes Two Big Wins Over Agnes Scott

Misenheimer, N.C. (March 16, 2019) –The Pfeiffer University softball team continued their torrid offensive output, as they pounded visiting Agnes Scott in a doubleheader, winning 17-2 and 11-3 on Saturday at Jack Ingram Field

THE BASICS
Pfeiffer scored nine runs in the first inning of both games and cruised to a pair of easy wins.

In game one, the Falcons batted around, with Vada Blue Sherrill connecting on a grand slam in her second at-bat of the inning.

Makenzie Pennell jacked her ninth homer of the season and Kiana Millsaps lifted her fourth of the season and earned the pitching win to improve to 9-1 on the year.

In game two, Pfeiffer's Hannah Tyner blasted her second home run of the year and Reece Davis hit her first career blast in helping the Falcons to the 11-3 win.
