Pfeiffer claimed the 1-0 lead after junior
Nico Soriano (Concord, N.C.) scored his third goal of the season off an assist from
Sam Stewart (Belhaven, N.C.) at 30:14. The assist would be his team-leading fifth of the season.
The Bishops would tie the match at 1-1 at the 36:49 mark with an unassisted goal from Ian Garnero.
Following the halftime break, NCWC surged ahead at 66:25 when Orri Bjornsson scored the eventual game-winner off a pass from Augustin Belgiorno.
