Pfeiffer Volleyball Splits USA South Tri-Match at Meredith
Raleigh, N.C. (Oct. 23, 2021) – The Pfeiffer University volleyball team split a pair of USA South matches on Saturday afternoon in Raleigh, N.C., falling to host Averett and defeating Greensboro College in a neutral site match.

Pfeiffer hit for just a .102 percentage while Meredith hit for a .322 clip in the 3-0 sweep.
Sophomore
Morgan Shrader (Matthews, N.C.) led the Falcons with seven kills, followed by junior
Reagan Wyatt (Stoneville, N.C.) with six.
Meredith's Whitney Bolton had a match-best 11 kills and hit .500. Â As a team, Meredith had nine aces on the match led by Avery Bowman's three.
Pfeiffer vs. Greensboro
Pfeiffer shook off the loss to Meredith with a hard-fought 3-2 win over rival Greensboro. Junior
Reagan Wyatt had a season=high 18 kills while
Morgan Shrader followed with 12 in the win. Freshman
Kylee Mayberry (Harmony, N.C.) had 33 assists and a team-best four aces on the match. Shrader also had four aces.
Defensively,
Anya Parker (Fort Mill, S.C.) had one solo block and three block assists to go along. Three Falcons had double-digit digs, with Shrader having 22 followed by
Emma Gray Beacham (Laurinburg, N.C.) with 19 and
Emily Cole (Concord, N.C.) with 10.
