Bob Jones Deals Pfeiffer Volleyball a 3-0 Setback

Misenheimer, N.C. (Oct. 28, 2021) – Visiting Bob Jones University dealt Pfeiffer University a 3-0 loss in a nonconference volleyball match on Thursday evening at Merner Gym.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
Pfeiffer junior Reagan Wyatt (Stoneville, N.C.) was the lone Falcon to achieve double-digits, as she had 11 kills on the night while hitting a robust .476.  Freshman Anya Parker (Fort Mill, S.C.) continued her steady play with eight kills, a solo block and a block assist.

Junior Mattie Burris (Misenheimer, N.C.) returned to play and had three block assists to lead play at the net.  Emma Gray Beacham (Laurinburg, N.C.) had a team-high eight digs and a pair of aces in the loss.

Bob Jones was led by Victoria Glaze, as she had a match-high 12 kills.  She also had three aces.

Pfeiffer will close the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 30 when they host a USA South quad match.  Play begins at 10:00 a.m. with the Falcons taking on Mary Baldwin.  Pfeiffer will close the day with a 4:00 p.m. match with Southern Virginia.

Other matches on the day include Southern Virginia taking on Salem College at Noon, followed by Salem and Mary Baldwin at 2:00 p.m.
