Pfeiffer Volleyball Drops Two to William Peace

Misenheimer, N.C. (April 1, 2021) – The Pfeiffer University volleyball team dropped a pair of matches to visiting William Peace University on Wednesday night at Merner Gym.

THE BASICS
Match One Final – William Peace def. Pfeiffer, 3-0 (25-15, 15-19, 25-22)
Match Two Final – William Peace def. Pfeiffer, 3-1 (25-18, 21-25, 25-17, 25-17)

Records
Pfeiffer – 5-5, (2-4 USA South)
William Peace – 9-1, (6-0 USA South)

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
Match One
Pfeiffer managed just a .157 hitting percentage compared to WPU's .271 percentage. Pfeiffer was led by Hallie Bauer and Alonna Clouse, as they both had eight kills.  Reagan Wyatt also had a productive match with seven kills.  Kira Suttles led the way for the Falcon setters, as she had 16 assists.  Defensively, Emma Gray Beacham had a team-best seven digs.

Match Two
Reagan Wyatt led the way for Pfeiffer, as she knocked down 11 kills and finished with a .733 hitting percentage.  Jessica Leshko had 22 assists while Beacham once again led Pfeiffer with 12 digs.
