Just like in game two of the series on Saturday, Pfeiffer jumped on The Pride in the first inning, scoring six runs in the inning. Pfeiffer collected five hits in the inning, three of which were RBI doubles.Â
Brady Parker (Oakboro, N.C.),
Alec Bell (Kings Mountain, N.C.) and

Greensboro scratched across a run in the second inning to draw to 6-1, but the Falcons got that run back when
Landon Evans (Statesville, N.C.) scored on a wild pitch in the second to go up 7-1. After an RBI single from Greensboro in the third made it 7-2, Bell belted a two-run home run to left field to push the lead to 9-2.
In the fifth,
Cory Lackey (Wilkesboro, N.C.) hit a three-run shot to left center to extend the Falcon lead to 12-2. A solo homer from Greensboro's Cam Edmonds in the sixth brought the game to a 12-3 score.Â
The Falcons would end the game in the seventh inning, with Parker launching a two-run home run to right center, making it 14-3.
With the bases loaded, the final run came across when Greensboro pitcher Logan Lacheid hit Evans on a 2-2 count, ending the game at 15-3.
Falcon pitcher
Thad Lewis (Greenville, N.C.) was solid on the afternoon, pitching 4.1 innings, allowing just one run on five hits while striking out a pair of Pride batters in earning his first win on the mound this season.
