Pfeiffer Volleyball Snaps Skid With 3-0 Win Over Johnson & Wales
Misenheimer, N.C. (Sept. 20, 2022) – The Pfeiffer University volleyball team snapped an eight match losing skid with a dominating 3-0 win over visiting Johnson & Wales University on Tuesday night in Merner Gym.

Pfeiffer hit for a season-best .290 hitting percentage while holing the visiting Wildcats to just a .076 outing in the lopsided win.
Falcon senior
Madison Honeycutt (Arroyo Grande, Cal.) had a match-high 10 kills while also posting six digs and one ace.
Freshman
Haedyn McGrath (Buford, Ga.) had her best performance of her young career, as she had eight kills. Not to be outdone, fellow freshman
Madison Tate (Lexington, N.C.) knocked down seven kills for the home team.
Defensively, senior
Mattie Burris (Misenheimer, N.C.) had a pair of solo blocks and a block assist to the Pfeiffer at the net.
Setter's
Kylee Mayberry (Harmony, N.C.) and
Kira Suttles (Morganton, N.C.) each finished with 21 and 15 assists, respectively. Suttles also lead Pfeiffer with four aces in the match.
All told, Pfeiffer had 13 aces on the evening.
