Bob Jones University Defeats Pfeiffer Volleyball

Greenville, S.C. (Sept. 29, 2022) – Visiting Pfeiffer University dropped a nonconference volleyball match at Bob Jones University by a 3-0 score in Greenville, S.C. on Thursday night.

Pfeiffer senior Madison Honeycutt (Arroyo Grande, Cal.) led the way offensively for Pfeiffer by knocking down eight kills.  Freshman Madison Tate (Lexington, N.C.) had six while Mattie Hinson (Norwood, N.C.) finished with four.

On the defensive side, Faith Miller (Clover, S.C.) finished with five total blocks (two solo, three block assists) while Tate had four block assists.  Freshman libero Gabby Edwards (Catawba, N.C.) had a team-high 16 digs.

Setter Kylee Mayberry (Harmony, N.C.) managed 12 assists while fellow senior setter Kira Suttles (Morganton, N.C.) completed the match with 10 helpers.  Mayberry also had a pair of aces in the match.
