N.C. Wesleyan Takes 9-0 Win Over Pfeiffer Men's Tennis
Misenheimer, N.C. (March 19, 2023) – The Pfeiffer University men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to visiting N.C. Wesleyan on Sunday afternoon at the Knapp Tennis Center.

THE BASICS
The visiting Bishops swept all nine matches on the day, starting with all three doubles contests. Pfeiffer's
Dylan Masters (Mooresville, N.C.) and
Michael Haranczyk (Mississauga, Ontario)Â dropped a competitive 8-4 decision at No. 1 doubles while the team of
Benedikt Pfeiffer (Schliersee, Germany) and
Aleix Garrido (Catalunya, Spain) fell at No. 2 by an 8-5 final.
In singles play at No.2, Pfeiffer took his match to three sets, falling to Diego Segovia by a 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 score.
All other singles matches were won by N.C. Wesleyan in straight sets.
BACK ON COURT
Pfeiffer will return to play on Wednesday, March 22 with a USA South road match at Methodist. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
