Brevard Prevails 23-17 Over Pfeiffer Women's Lacrosse
Misenheimer, N.C. (March 28, 2023) – Visiting Brevard came back from a 13-11 halftime deficit to take a 23-17 USA South women's lacrosse win over Pfeiffer University on Tuesday afternoon at Lefko Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After Brevard went ahead 3-0 in the early goings of the game, Pfeiffer rallied to tie the game at 4-4 on three goals from sophomore
Analise Robinson (Winston-Salem, N.C.) and one from junior
Julia Barbato (West Chester, Pa.)
Pfeiffer led 6-5 after the first quarter and would extend their lead to 13-11 at halftime.
Brevard then went on a run, outscoring the Falcons 8-2 in the third quarter behind five man-up advantage goals that carried the Tornados into the fourth quarter with a 19-15 lead.
Pfeiffer then closed to 19-17 on a pair of Robinson goals, but Brevard would go on to score the next four to close the game at 23-17.
Inside the Box Score
Analise Robinson scored a career-high nine goals on the afternoon while unleashing 18 shots, also a career-best.
Junior teammates
Julia Barbato and
Chloe Johnson (Fort Mill, S.C.) each had three goals in the game, with Johnson also adding an assist.
Senior
Dashaniq Sidbury (Hampstead, N.C.) and
Madeline Chadbourne (Jacksonville, Fla.) each had a goal for to round out scoring for the Falcons.
