Falcon Men's Tennis Sweeps Past Johnson & Wales
Charlotte, N.C. (March 23, 2024)– The Pfeiffer University men's tennis team had no trouble in taking a 9-0 nonconference win over Johnson & Wales University at the Tuckaseegee Recreation Center on Thursday afternoon

THE BASICS
Pfeiffer started the day with a trio of doubles wins to put up the early 3-0 score.
The No. 3 team of
Bogdan Stan and freshman
Jayden Wellman had an impressive 8-1 win in doubles play.
In singles play, Pfeiffer won all six matches in straight sets.Â
Mathius Dessureau had a competitive match at No;. 2, as he won over JWU's John Billinis, 6-3, 7-5.
Stan also won his singles match at No. 6 over Dylan Hight by a 6-0, 6-2 score.Â
The Next Match
Pfeiffer will continue out of conference play on Tuesday, March 29 as they travel to Salem, Va. to take on Roanoke College at 3:00 p.m.
