Falcon Men's Lacrosse Gets Lopsided Win Over Hiram
Misenheimer, N.C. (March 6, 2024) – The Pfeiffer University men's lacrosse team scored the first 10 goals of the game and cruised to a lopsided win over visiting Hiram University on a rainy Lefko Field on Wednesday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Pfeiffer scored the first 10 goals of the game, including six scores off the stick of
Zach DeFazio en route to the blowout win over Hiram.
Hiram's Noah Pilgram scored the first goal for the Terriers at 10:55 of the second quarter to halt the Pfeiffer run, making it 10-1.
Pfeiffer led 17-1 at halftime and extended the lead to 19-2 before four straight Hiram goals made it 19-6. Pfeiffer scored four more times and Hiram's Pilgram added another goal to provide the 23-7 final.

DeFazio led Pfeiffer with seven goals while freshman teammate
Ethan Miles scored three times and added seven assists to finish with 10 points. Malcolm Meadows and
Quinn Becraft each scored three goals while Becraft also added three assists.
Colin Finley had a pair of goals on eight shots while teammates
Zach Gignac,
Khyler Johnson,
Dylan Bryson and
Chase Dadabo each had one goal in the win.
Hiram's Noah Pilgram had six goals while Terrier teammate Brett Johnson had the other Hiram score.
Six Pfeiffer goalkeepers saw action in the game, with
Korbin Hamilton earning the win.Â

Ayden Cox had three saves each while Reese Jackson,
Dawson Petzel and
Jason Rowland each had one save.
