Pfeiffer Women's Tennis Wins at William Peace, 8-1
Raleigh, N.C. (April 21, 2024)– The Pfeiffer University women's tennis team won their sixth-consecutive match in an 8-1 triumph at William Peace University in the final regular season match of the spring season.

THE BASICS
The Falcons started hot, winning all three matches in the doubles competition to jump to the early 3-0 win.
In singles play, freshman
Caimbree Gann took the No. 1 match over her WPU opponent by a 6-3, 6-2 final, improving her record to 9-4 overall and 4-3 in USA South play. Fellow freshman
Haley Ingenito continued her strong play, improving to 21-2 overall and 7-1 in league action with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at No. 3.
Riley Isley won both sets of her No. 4 singles match, 6-2, 6-2 to improve to 16-3 on the season and 6-1 in USA South matches.
Kristen Colie (18-5, 5-3 USA South) swept her No. 5 match, 6-0, 6-0 while
Emily Moore (7-3, 2-0 USA South) rounded the day with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 6 to provide the 8-1 final
The Next Match
With the regular season complete, Pfeiffer has earned the No. 4 seed in the upcoming USA South Tournament. The Falcons will host fifth-seeded Brevard College at the Knapp Tennis Center on Tuesday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m. in the first round.
