Pfeiffer Women's Lacrosse Dominates NCWU on Senior Day
Misenheimer, N.C. (April 27, 2024) – The Pfeiffer University women's lacrosse team put on a dominant performance in a 15-1 rout of N.C. Wesleyan on a sun-drenched Senior Day at Lefko-Mills Field on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Pfeiffer opened the first quarter with five goals and added three more to take the 8-0 lead at halftime. Three more goals were added by the Falcons in the third quarter to extend their lead to 11-0. Pfeiffer would then score the first three goals of the fourth quarter to go up 14-0.
N.C. Wesleyan scored their lone goal at the 8:25 mark of the fourth quarter, while Pfeiffer scored with 2:17 remaining to provide the 15-1 final.

Julia Barbato scored five goals, added three assists and had one draw control, one ground ball and one caused turnover in the win. Junior teammate

Chloe Johnson managed three goals to go along with a pair of ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.
Sophomore
Skyla Jo Charette scored twice and had one assist on the afternoon while freshman
Victoria Tita notched her first career goal in the win. Tita also had two ground balls and two draw controls.
