Pfeiffer Men's Tennis Earns Wins Over Dickinson & SUNY Oneonta

Hilton Head, S.C. (March 12, 2025)– The Pfeiffer University men's tennis team earned a pair of wins on Wednesday, downing Dickinson College 7-0 and SUNY Oneonta 4-3 in Hilton Head, S.C.

RECORDS
Pfeiffer – 5-2
Dickinson – 2-3
SUNY Oneonta – 5-4

THE BASICS vs. DICKINSON
Pfeiffer had no trouble with the Red Devils, as they swept all three doubles matches and all six singles matches.

Bogdan Stan and Justin Geisbrecht had little trouble in their singles matches at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively, with Stan winning 6-0, 6-1 and Geisbrecht taking his match 6-1, 6-1.

Aissultan Mukhambetov cruised 6-1, 6-0 in his match at No. 3. 

Grad student Benedikt Pfeiffer clinched the team win at No. 1, claiming a 7-5, 6-4 win.

THE BASICS vs. SUNY Oneonta
Against SUNY-Oneonta, Pfeiffer swept all three doubles matches to go up 1-0.

Following singles wins from Justin Geisbrecht and Bogdan Stan, Goncalo Oliveira clinched the team win at No. 6, by winning 6-2, 7-6 (7-3).


The Next Match
Pfeiffer will conclude play in Hilton Head on Friday, March 14 with an 8:30 a.m. match with Penn State Harrisburg at the Hilton Head Beach & Tennis Resort.
