Pfeiffer Women's Tennis Takes 6-1 Win Over PSU Harrisburg

Hilton Head, S.C. (March 14, 2025)– The Pfeiffer University women's tennis team closed competition in Hilton Head, S.C. with a 6-1 win over Penn State Harrisburg at the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort.

THE BASICS
Pfeiffer won two of the three doubles matches to earn the doubles point, then took five singles matches to provide the 6-1 final.

The Falcons earned 6-1, 6-1 wins in the No. 2 (Sydney Cohen), No. 5 (Riley Isley) and No. 6 (Sonya Rhoades) matches.

Haley Ingenito also had an easy win at No. 3, winning 6-1, 6-0 while Fanny Apostolou won her No. 4 match 6-1, 6-2.

The Next Match
The Falcons will jump back into USA South play on Tuesday, March 18 with a road match at Methodist University. First serve is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
