Misenheimer, N.C. (March 15, 2025) – The visiting Pfeiffer Falcon women's lacrosse team was nipped byh host Huntingdon College 15-14 in Montgomery, Ala. on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Huntingdon raced out to a 5-0 lead after the end of the first quarter and went up 7-0 before Pfeiffer broke through with back-to-back goals from Emma LaFave and Skyla Jon Charette.

Pfeiffer scored three more times to provide the 12-5 halftime score.

Pfeiffer outscored Huntingdon 5-2 in the third quarter to trim the deficit to 14-10 heading into the fourth.

The Falcons then closed the gap to 15-14 with 1:03 left to play on an unassisted goal from Charette. That would eventually be the final, as Pfeiffer could not net the tying goal.

Inside the Box Score
Skyla Jo Charette had a terrific outing, as she had six goals and four assists, finishing with 10 points, which is the seventh-best performance in program history.

Madeline Chadbourne added three goals while Victoria Howard had two in the loss. Emma LaFave, Cerys Reid and Reagan Martinez also scored a goal each.

Pfeiffer goalkeeper Dakota Dominick made 14 saves on the afternoon.

The Falcons will continue USA South play on Tuesday, March 25 with a road game at Methodist University that will start at 6:00 p.m.
