GAME 1 | Pfeiffer 8, Meredith 0
RALEIGH, N.C. (March 26, 2026) --Senior pitcher Emma Bullin tossed a one-hit shutout to lead the #24 Pfeiffer Falcons past the Meredith Angels 8-0 in game one of a USA South doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon.
Bullin (9-4) went the distance for Pfeiffer (15-7), giving up one hit, walking none and striking out six.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons took the lead in the first on an RBI single from Gracie Griffin, scoring Landry Stewart from third base.
The Falcons then tacked on runs in four more innings, with their biggest output coming in the sixth when they scored four times.

In game two, the Falcons took a 5-0 lead in the second inning and never surrendered the advantage on the way to a 9-1 five-inning win.
Bullin (10-4) started in the circle and picked up the win for Pfeiffer (16-7, 4-0 USA South). The right-hander went five innings, gave up one run on five hits, allowing one walk while striking out five.
Bulling helped her cause offensively, as she went 1-for-2 with a double and a walk. Ky Perdue put together a noteworthy day at the plate as well, going 2-for-3 while Emily Dickerson also contributed for Pfeiffer, putting together two hits in three trips to the plate.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons got on the scoreboard first, starting in the second inning. Pfeiffer's offense started clicking and put up five runs, including a zero-run error off the bat of Aylssa Broaddus.
After the Angels cut the lead to 5-1, Pfeiffer managed to push across two runs in the inning, which brought the score to 7-1.
Pfeiffer held Meredith without a run before expanding their lead to 9-1 the following inning as the Falcons ended the game in five innings..
