Pfeiffer Men's Tennis Sweeps Past Randolph-Macon, 7-0
Ashland, Va. (April 6, 2025)– Visiting Pfeiffer University swept all nine contested matches in a 7-0 road nonconference win over Randolph-Macon on Sunday morning at the Banks Tennis Center in Ashland, Va.

THE BASICS
Pfeiffer opened play with wins in all three doubles matches.Â
Bogdan Stan and
Andres Valdez-Arze won the No. 1 match by a 7-6 count followed by a 6-2 in at No. 2 by
Justin Giesbrecht and
Mathius Dessureau.Â
Laurin Rauer and
Ameno Morgan took the No. 3 match by a 6-3 final to earn the doubles point.
In singles play, Morgan dropped the first set of his match at No. 6, but came back to win by a 2-6, 6-2, 6-1 final.
All other singles matches went the Falcon way in straight sets. Freshman
Aissultan Mukhambetov won at No. 2 by a 6-0, 6-0 score while
Benedikt Pfeiffer won at No. 1 by 6-4, 6-4 score.
The Next Match
Pfeiffer will continue nonconference play on Tuesday with a visit to ODAC foe Guilford College. First serve is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. in Greensboro, N.C.
