MISENHEIMER, N.C. — Analise Robinson scored six goals and added an assist, powering Pfeiffer to a 17–13 win over Guilford on Friday afternoon at Lefko-Mills Field.
With her six goals, Robinson inches closer to breaking the career goals record, as she now stands just four behind former standout and current High Point coach Lyndsey Boswell's career mark of 190 scores.
Pfeiffer, 2-0 for the first time since 2019, used a dominant third quarter—scoring six times—to break open what had been a back-and-forth first half. Freshman
Quinn Branca provided a major spark with four goals, including a pair in the pivotal third period, along with seven draw controls and three caused turnovers.
Skyla Jo Charette added three goals and three assists, while
Cerys Reid notched a hat trick and an assist, scoring twice in the third quarter to help Pfeiffer seize momentum.
Keiri Velasquez also contributed a goal and an assist, including the game's first tally on a man-up opportunity.
Pfeiffer goalkeeper
Clara Smith finished with seven saves to earn the win. The Falcons out-shot the Quakers 42–24 and held a decisive 22–9 advantage on draw controls.
Guilford (0-2) was led by standout performances from Emma Garland and Hannah McMasters, who combined for 13 of the Quakers' 13 goals. McMasters scored six times—including two in the fourth—but
Guilford was unable to overcome Pfeiffer's extended scoring runs. Kylie Wood and Carm DeFeo added a goal apiece.
Pfeiffer closed the game strong, with Robinson and Charette adding late goals before Reid sealed the win with nine seconds remaining.
