Robinson Nets Hat Trick But Falcons Come Up Short at Piedmont

DEMOREST, Ga. (March 14, 2026) — Pfeiffer's Analise Robinson recorded her second hat trick in as many games, but the Falcons fell 23–3 to Piedmont in USA South women's lacrosse action Saturday at the Walker Athletic Complex.

Robinson supplied all three Pfeiffer goals, scoring once in the first quarter, adding a player-up tally in the second and converting another player-up opportunity in the fourth (goals 42, 43 and 44 on the season). The senior attacker attempted five shots—four on frame—and drew a free-position chance while also collecting two draw controls for the Falcons.

Skyla Jo Charette added an assist on Robinson's fourth-quarter goal and posted two shots on goal in the loss

Goalkeeper Clara Smith faced a high-volume afternoon, turning away seven shots while playing the full 60 minutes. Smith also collected five ground balls and caused two turnovers as Pfeiffer struggled to clear the zone under constant pressure (7-of-16 on clears).

Freshman Quinn Branca contributed on both ends with two draw controls, two shots on goal and three ground balls before exiting in the second half. Defensively, Keiri Velasquez added four draw controls and two caused turnovers, while Clara Cabaniss-Ali, Aideen Roberg and several midfielders combined to disrupt Piedmont in transition at moments despite the Lions' shot advantage (40–9).

Pfeiffer drops to 7-3 overall and 1-2 in league play, while Piedmont improves to 5–5 (3–0 USA South). The Falcons will step out of conference play for their next game, as they host Illinois Wesleyan on Monday, March 16 at 5:00 p.m.
