Pfeiffer University

The weight room in Merner Gym was officially named The Snake Pit after longtime Pfeiffer supporter Lester "Snake" Roberts in the summer of 2020.

Roberts, who served Pfeiffer for 27 years as the Head of Security, passed away July 31, 2020 at 92 years old.

The facility features state-of-the-art weight equipment racks as well as an inclined leg press machine.  It also has free weights, kettle bells, a treadmill and a stair machine.
