INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
Pfeiffer wasted little time, jumping on top of the Knights less than three minutes into the match when graduate student Caleb Bratager (Wake Forest, N.C.) delivered a pass in traffic to freshman Jean Bah (Charlotte, N.C.) who blasted the ball past SVU goalkeeper Dallin Chappell, giving Pfeiffer the 1-0 lead.  The goal was the quickest that the Falcons have scored this season.

SVU tied the match at 1-1 in the 20th minute when Danny Fletkau send the ball past Pfeiffer goalkeeper Ali Jaafar (Matthews, N.C.) after getting a pass from Peyson Webster.

In the second half, Pfeiffer's Branson Adams (Asheboro, N.C.) would score in the 63rd minute to provide the eventual game-winner on a Sam Stewart (Belhaven, N.C.) pass, proving the Falcons with the 2-1 lead.

The Falcons would go on to extend the lead to 3-1 when Bah scored his second of the match on a Bratager assist in the 75th minute.  Pfeiffer would keep pouring it on, pushing the lead to 4-1 when Bratager scored on a Cristyan Cabrera (Salisbury, N.C.) pass in the 79th minute.

The final goal of the match came when goalkeeper Ali Jaafar sent a long kick that ended up under the control of Cabrera, who slotted the ball into the net to provide the 5-1 final, giving the Pfeiffer goalkeeper a rare assist.
