N.C. Wesleyan Gets 4-2 Win Over Pfeiffer Men's Soccer

Steven Lozano scored less than two minutes into the match, but visiting N.C. Wesleyan University scored four unanswered goals en route to a 4-2 USA South men's soccer win over Pfeiffer University at Lefko Field.

How It Happened
Lozano, from nearby Concord, N.C., notched his first goal of the season when he blasted a loose ball in front of the Bishop goal less than two minutes in to give Pfeiffer the early 1-0 lead.
NCWU would draw even at 1-1 in the seventh minute when Antonio Sas scored on an assist from Leho LeLouam. The Bishops would add another goal at 17:31 on an unassisted score from Felipe Garcia and would get another at 21:59 from Justo Esponda on an assist from Osei Darko, making it 3-1.
N.C. Wesleyan would jump ahead 4-1 at 34:10 on an Agustin Rodriguez goal that was assisted by Sas.
Pfeiffer's
Sam Stewart (Belhaven, N.C.) then converted a penalty kick at 41:41 to make it 4-2, in which was the eventual final after a scoreless second half.
Ali Jaafar (Matthews, N.C.) made eight saves for the Falcons in goal while his NCWU counterpart, Fred Rogers, made four saves.
