Pfeiffer Women's Tennis Breezes Past Mary Baldwin in 7-0 Sweep
Staunton, Va. (April 13, 2025)– Visiting Pfeiffer University breezed to a 7-0 USA South women's tennis road win at Mary Baldwin University on Sunday morning.

THE BASICS
The Falcons won all nine matches in straight sets.
Beginning in doubles play,
Sydney Cohen and
Riley Isley won their No. 2 match 6-0, as did
Fanny Apostolou and
Haley Ingenito in the No. 3 match.
Alison Sloop and
Megan Rekieta were also winners in the No. 1 match by a 6-2 final.
In singles play, three matches (No. 2, No. 3 and No. 6) all were 6-0, 6-0 sweeps.Â
Haley Ingenito,

Sonya Rhoades were the winners in their respective matches.
Megan Rekieta won her No. 1 match 6-0, 6-1, while freshman
Fanny Apostolou won her No. 4 match 6-1, 6-0.
Riley Isley also had little trouble, as she won handily at No. 5 by a 6-0, 6-1 final

The Falcons will return to play on Tuesday, April 15 with a 3:30 p.m. USA South matchup with Southern Virginia at the Knapp Tennis Center in Misenheimer.
