Fainter Gets Win No. 200 in Women's Tennis Sweep at Meredith
Raleigh, N.C. (April 9, 2025)– Pfeiffer head tennis coach
Justin Fainter earned his 200
th coaching victory with a 7-0 road sweep of USA South foe Meredith College on Wednesday afternoon in Raleigh, N.C.

THE BASICS
Pfeiffer won all three doubles matches to start the day, with Sonya Rhoads and
Alison Sloop winning 6-0 in the No. 3 doubles match. The No. 1 team of Rley Isley and
Sydney Cohen took their match 6-3 while the No. 2 match went to
Fanny Apostolou and
Haley Ingenito by a 6-1 final.
The six doubles matches also went to the Falcons, with five of the matches being completed in straight sets.
Sydney Cohen, playing at No. 2, was able to outlast her Meredith opponent by winning, 6-0, 4-6, 10-5.
Apostolou won her sixth straight match and remained perfect in USA South play with a convincing 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3.
Riley Isley also ran her USA South record to 5-0, winning her match at No.4 by a 7-5, 6-0 final.
Haley Ingenito (No.1),
Sonya Rhoades (No. 5) and Kristin Colie (No. 6) also won their respective matches to complete the sweep.
The Next Match
Pfeiffer will once again hit the road, as they are scheduled to take on former USA South foe Maryville College on Saturday, April 12 at 10:00 a.m. in a nonconference match.
