Pfeiffer Men's Soccer Announces 2025 Schedule

MISENHEIMER, N.C. (June 23, 2025) - The Pfeiffer University men's soccer team is set to kick off its 2025 season with a pair of scrimmages before diving into a challenging slate of regular-season and USA South matchups.

The Falcons open their preseason on Aug. 20 in a home scrimmage against Montreat College, followed by a road scrimmage at Belmont Abbey on Aug. 26. The regular season begins in earnest on Aug. 29 with a trip to ODAC member Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C.

Pfeiffer's home opener is scheduled for Sept. 9 against former USA South member Piedmont at Lefko-Mills Field, where the Falcons will also host Division II Shaw University (Sept. 12), Randolph (Sept. 17), and Carolina University (Sept. 20) during a busy September stretch.

The match with the Bruins will be the annual homecoming match as part of a doubleheader with the Pfeiffer women's team.

After a road trip to Division II Virginia State (Sept. 24), the Falcons will face a rigorous USA South Athletic Conference schedule, beginning Sept. 27 at N.C. Wesleyan. Other key conference matchups include road games at Methodist (Sept. 30) and Mary Baldwin (Oct. 18), and home contests against defending league champion William Peace (Oct. 8), rival Greensboro (Oct. 11), Southern Virginia (Oct. 25), and a Senior Day match with Brevard (Oct. 29).

Pfeiffer will look to improve on last season's 4-8-3 record that included a 1-5-1 mark in league play.

Head coach Tony Faticoni enters his ninth season as the head of the Falcon program and will be flanked by former Pfeiffer standout Nico Soriano, who enters his first season as an assistant coach.

All home matches will be played at Lefko-Mills Field in Misenheimer, with live stats and streaming available through the university's athletics website.
