Pfeiffer Gets 3-0 Road Shutout Win at Averett

DANVILLE, Va. (Sept. 3, 2025) — Wesley Hooker scored once and assisted another as Pfeiffer defeated Averett 3–0 on Wednesday night at Daly Field at Frank R. Campbell Stadium.
Hooker opened the scoring in the 28th minute and later set up Jaiden Wright's goal in the 51st minute to give the Falcons a 2–0 lead. Drew Garro added the final goal in the 73rd minute to seal the win.

Pfeiffer (2–0) outshot Averett (1–1–1) by a margin of 19–11, including a 9–6 edge in shots on goal. Falcons goalkeeper Seth Limbert recorded six saves and earned his first career clean sheet

Averett's Anibal Lopez made five saves in goal but allowed three goals, one in the first half and two in the second.

The Falcons will return to play on Tuesday, Sept. 9 when they open their home schedule with a non-conference match with Piedmont at Lefko-Mills Field.
