SWEET BRIAR, Va. (February 21, 2026) — Several Pfeiffer women's lacrosse records fell in the Falcons' 24-0 road shutout of Sweet Briar College on Saturday afternoon at Meyer Field.
Senior
Skyla Jo Charette piled up 18 points by scoring four gaols and supplying 14 assists, which is a new single-game points record. The 14 assists is also a new single game record.
Not be outdone, senior
Analise Robinson's first goal of the afternoon at 13:55 of the first quarter, placed her atop the Pfeiffer record books in career goals, passing former Pfeiffer player and current High Point University head coach Lyndsey Boswell. Robinson finished with five goals on the afternoon, raising her career total to 195. Her five goals included a shorthanded tally in the second quarter, while freshman teammate
Quinn Branca netted five goals and picked up a team-high six ground balls.
Rylee Honeycutt scored three times — including the game's opening player-up goal — and assisted on two others.
Cerys Reid and Emma Lafave contributed two goals apiece.
Pfeiffer (4-0) scored nine unanswered goals in the first quarter and never let up, outshooting Sweet Briar 41–6 and placing 34 shots on goal.
The Falcons controlled every statistical category, winning all 18 draw controls and converting their lone free-position try. Pfeiffer forced 17 turnovers and held Sweet Briar without a goal on just two shots on goal.
Goalkeeper
Clara Smith earned the shutout with two saves across 60 minutes as Pfeiffer successfully cleared all nine of its attempts.
Sweet Briar (0–3) relied on goalkeeper Larkin Shire, who made 10 saves under constant pressure. Elise Palazzo recorded the Vixens' only free-position attempt of the day, and Lynsday Davis tallied the team's lone shot on goal.
Pfeiffer led 12–0 at halftime and scored seven more in the third quarter before closing out the dominant win with a five-goal fourth. The Falcons have now opened the season with four straight victories by wide margins.
The shutout marks the first since 2012, when the Falcons opened the season with a 23-0 blanking of Lees-McRae.
The Falcons will return to Lefko-Mills Field on Wednesday, Feb. 25 with a home game with Randolph College at 4:00 p.m.
