Robinson Paces Pfeiffer Men's Basketball's 91-86 Win Over Colorado College
HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. (Nov. 22, 2025) — Clayton Robinson scored 19 points and Zach Sloan added 13 as Pfeiffer University won over Colorado College 91-86 in a neutral-site game Saturday at S. Douglas Fleet Gymnasium on the campus of Hampden-Sydney College in the first game of the Charlie Cobb Classic.
Robinson hit a career-best five 3-pointers and dished out five assists for the Falcons (4-1), who shot 51.7% from the field and went 11 of 21 from beyond the arc. Sloan chipped in three 3-pointers and two assists off the bench, while Sean Sucarichi scored 16 points and grabbed four rebounds.
Pfeiffer led 45-35 at halftime and pushed its advantage to 15 early in the second half before Colorado College rallied. The Tigers (2-2) cut the deficit to 84-78 with just over a minute left behind Asher Nofziger, who finished with a game-high 27 points and 14 rebounds. Christian Drummond added 15 points, including three 3-pointers, and Russell MacFarlane scored 13.
The Falcons sealed the win at the free-throw line, converting 20 of 32 attempts overall. Pfeiffer forced 19 turnovers and scored 26 fast-break points, compared to 14 for Colorado College.
Pfeiffer will return to play on Sunday, Nov. 23 when it takes on host and 17th-ranked Hampden-Sydney at 4:30 p.m.
