Pfeiffer Men's Lacrosse Tops LaGrange in USA South Opener
Misenheimer, N.C. (March 8, 2025) – The Pfeiffer University men's lacrosse team exploded for a 29-4 home win over LaGrange in the USA South opener for both teams on a warm Saturday afternoon at Lefko-Mills Field

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons bolted to a 9-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, as they posted 29 goals, the second-most in program history and the most in Pfeiffer's Division III era.
Pfeiffer would carry a 14-2 lead into halftime and then led 25-2 after three quarters.  Pfeiffer would outscore the Panthers 4-2 in the fourth quarter to provide the 29-4 final.
The game was halted with 3:21 remaining in the fourth quarter due to injuries.
Inside the Box Score
Pfeiffer had 13 different players score in the game, led by
Ethan Miles, as he scored a team-high seven goals while adding an assist. Teammate
Mason Tardiff had five goals and an assist while
Khyler Johnson added four goals.Â
Jackson Johnson managed three goals and an assist and
Zach Gignac had a pair of goals to go along with two assists.
Faceoff specialist
Elias Solano managed nine ground balls and was 12-of-14 on faceoffs while
Chase Henderson finished 9-of-15 from the dot.
Lee Caldwell also went a perfect 6-of-6 on the afternoon on faceoffs for the Falcons.
Five goalkeepers saw action for the Falcons, with
Korbin Hamilton earning the win after making one save and allowing one goal.Â
Jackson Reese made two saves while
Dawson Petzel,
Kalem McKinnis-Castille and
Ayden Cox all had one save each in the win.

Pfeiffer will step out of conference play for their next game, as they host Lake Forest on Tuesday afternoon, March 11 as part of a doubleheader with the Pfeiffer women's team. The men's team will play at 3:00 p.m. followed by a 6:00 p.m. women's game with Brevard.
