Lynchburg, Va. (May 6, 2025) - The Pfeiffer University men's track and field team broke several records and had several top-10 performances at the Liberty Twilight Qualifier on Wednesday afternoon.
Leading the way was freshman
Bricen Burleson, who ran a huge personal best to break the Pfeiffer record in the 1500m with a time of 4:00.29
The 1500m proved to be a big event for the Pfeiffer men, as all of the athletes ran new personal bests and with the first three posting top 10 all-time marks in school history.

In the men's 800m, where
Fabian Candela-Godinez ran a personal best of 1:59.13 to finish in 15th-place in the meet and move to No. 7 in the Pfeiffer record book.
